My father asked me if he has to worry about me because he saw me upset lately and he doesn’t know why. The truth is that I had many problems lately and I don’t know how to solve them but I don’t like to tell my parents about them because I don’t want to worry them. I spent all week reading about emetophobia, hoping to find something about an emetophobia treatment. The sad thing is that there is no specific treatment that could cure emetophobia. If I don’t go to therapy and I don’t use all my power to get rid of this phobia I might stop having a normal life, soon. How can I have a social life if I am afraid of vomiting? I know there are more people like me but maybe they are stronger than I am.

I know John since I was 17 years old. We were colleagues on the high school, after that he studied medicine and me law.
